Are you are involved with a School, a Group, or Society and  looking for ideas for entertainment during the coming season?

Why not book a recital group to brighten up an afternoon or evening?

Chapter and Verse, the informal performance group, run by  amateur theatre company Hull Playgoers' Society, is now taking bookings, within a 15 mile radius of Hull, for the coming year.

The group performs readings of prose, plays and poetry suitable to entertain a wide range of groups.

Chapter and Verse can off afternoon or evening bookings at your venue, with a selection of readings to suit your students or membership, whatever their age or interests.

Although performances are free of charge, Chapter and Verse welcomes any donations, which go towards staging twice- yearly productions by Hull Playgoers' Society. 

Our reading are very popular and we aim to delight and entertain all sorts of group.  Our readers are talented performers with a wealth of experience and we select material to make a varied recital.
